Agles Motorsports and Agles Marine is owned and operated by Jim & Kelli Agles (Jim Agles, Dealer) and is located on the beautiful SW Gulf coast of Florida in Cape Coral. Our neighboring communities include Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers Beach, Estero, Bonita Springs, and the beautiful islands of Sanibel, Captiva and Pine Island.  We provide both automobile and marine sales, service, parts and related industry services.WE

Jim has been licensed since 1984 and sold his first car (a 1947 Chevy Coupe) in 1960. He started working on cars with his Uncle Bill Agles at Agles Amoco in Edwardsville, IL, at approx. age 8 or 9. Agles Amoco is now known as McLean Auto Repair which is still owned and operated by Bob McLean and Billy Agles, Jr. at the same location on Buchanon Street. (now closed).  During highschool, Jim worked for Brooks Motor Company in Mason City, Illinois. Later he worked for Sam Lehman Chevrolet as a mechanic in Eureka, Illinois.

After many years in the concrete and construction industry, in 1984, Jim started missing the automobile industry and began restoring classic cars in Morton, IL. As this business expanded into classic car sales, he obtained his dealer's license and opened his first retail location on Knoxville Avenue in Peoria, Illinois, JIM AGLES AUTO SALES. As the business expanded, Jim branched out and opened JIM AGLES SPORT AND IMPORTS on Pioneer Parkway, Peoria, and a third store in Kewanee, Illinois.

In the late 80's, Jim restored a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Convertible for Dr. Jim DeBord. They struck up a great friendship and business relationship so together they purchased a GM franchise and opened JIM AGLES CHEVROLET GEO INC in Princeville, Illinois and sucessfully ran that store until 1998 at which time Jim and Kelli discovered Cape Coral, Florida, and moved there full time.

Jim also maintains his real estate license working as a team with Kelli with RE/MAX REALTY TEAM since the spring of 1999. Jim is also actively licensed as a boat and trailer dealer.
